BikeVentura and the Bike HUB volunteers are the backbone of our organization. They are the magic preparing bikes for youth giveaways, planning community bike rides, wrenching bikes for shop sale, and more. We’re always looking for good people to join our crew. Is this you?

Volunteer Opportunities *

Bike mechanics: Upcycling donations and repairs in the shop
Technology: Help with technology. Think website, CRM, internal comms, and external comms.
Advocacy: Let's go to City Hall! Let's write emails!
Tabling at events: Tabling, outreach, advocacy
Bike Valet: Support alternative modes of transit to events and keep bikes safe.
Administrative Support: You can help us move data from paper to computer or respond to inquiries.
Hub shop support: Clean, sort, odds and ends. You may not know a bike, but you can use a broom.
Education events: Teach children to ride bikes!
Photography: We're always looking for awesome folks to capture our vibe.
Impact: Interviewing, crafting, and sharing stories about BikeVC work
Communications: Social media or graphics support
Bike Picker-Uppers: Pick up bikes throughout Ventura County and delivery them to the Oxnard or Ventura Bike HUB?
Event Planning: Help us plan fun and exciting events around the county such as community rides, bike rodeos, and bike valet. You can sign up to lead a ride here: https://bikeventura.org/host-a-ride/
